In June 2022, we created a two-day pilot event called Business Clan, launching a new partnership between the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick - Dieppe Campus and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton – Future Link, to provide a meaningful WIL (work-integrated learning) experience to first-year students enrolled in Business Administration.

Three local organizations and businesses presented challenges that they were experiencing in real time and that they wanted to solve in order to improve their services. In pre-selected teams and with the supervision of the program coordinator and CCNB teachers, the students had to find solutions together to the challenges presented.

This experience was a small taste of the Future Link program and WIL experience, where students develop their creative thinking and problem-solving skills while working in teams and having access to resources and important tools, as if they were on the labor market.

To close this event, the groups had to present their projects to the representatives of organizations and companies present, as well as to teachers and their colleagues.

This second edition of Business Clan in April 2023 was a great success for all and we can't wait to recreate it for a third edition in 2024!
